PAYMENT & PAYMENT METHODS
We accept Cash, Credit/Debit Card, PayPal, Cash App, and Venmo for deposits and account balance payments.

A valid credit or debit card must be kept on file for all dumpster rentals unless otherwise approved in writing by Smart Business Consulting LLC, DBA “Dumpster Rentals Hagerstown.” By placing an order, the customer authorizes payment for the rental price and all applicable additional charges described in these Terms and Conditions.

Fuel and Delivery-Area Charges

The following charges apply to dumpster rental orders:
– Fuel Charge: $12.00 per order. This charge applies to every order.
– Extended Service Area Fee: $35.00. This fee applies to deliveries within our designated extended service area.
– Out-of-Area Delivery Surcharge: $50.00. This fee applies to deliveries within our designated outer service area.

The applicable delivery-area fee is determined by the delivery address and ZIP code. The $35.00 and $50.00 delivery-area fees are alternative service-area charges; only the applicable fee will be charged for a delivery. These fees are in addition to the $12.00 Fuel Charge.

The applicable charges will be displayed during checkout when the delivery address is entered and the applicable fees can be determined. If a delivery address cannot be verified or falls outside our established service areas, customers must contact Dumpster Rentals Hagerstown to confirm service availability and pricing before placing an order.

Customers are responsible for reviewing the order total and applicable charges before completing their purchase.

If excess weight or other additional fees are incurred after the rental has expired, we will attempt to contact the customer to confirm the payment method to be used. If no response is received within a reasonable amount of time (1–4 days), the payment method on file may be charged for the remaining balance as authorized under these Terms and Conditions.

For heavy materials such as concrete, dirt, brick, asphalt, stone, slate, or gravel, a refundable weight deposit may be required before delivery. The amount will be determined based on estimated disposal weight and landfill costs.

By placing an order with Smart Business Consulting LLC, DBA “Dumpster Rentals Hagerstown,” you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

 FRAUD PREVENTION AND DELIVERY VERIFICATION

To help protect customers and our company against fraudulent, unauthorized, or disputed transactions, Dumpster Rentals Hagerstown may require additional identity and delivery verification for certain orders.
For orders placed through our website or by telephone where the customer’s residence or billing address is outside our normal local service area, the customer or authorized purchaser must be physically present at the delivery location when the dumpster is delivered.

The customer or authorized purchaser may be required to present valid government-issued photo identification to the delivery driver or company representative. Identification may be compared with the name provided on the order and, when applicable, the payment method used.

If the customer or authorized purchaser is not present or cannot provide requested identification, Dumpster Rentals Hagerstown reserves the right to delay, refuse, or cancel delivery until the order can be verified. Applicable cancellation, trip, or other fees established under these Terms and Conditions may still apply.

This verification requirement is a fraud-prevention and payment-security measure and does not necessarily indicate that the company believes a customer has engaged in fraudulent activity. We may also request identity verification or require the customer to be present in other circumstances when reasonably necessary to verify an order or protect against unauthorized transactions.

 WEIGHT OVERAGES

Any weight exceeding the weight limit included with the selected rental option will incur an additional charge of $0.09 per pound. Prices and fees are subject to change, and the applicable price will be disclosed at the time of purchase.

The $12.00 Fuel Charge and any applicable $35.00 Extended Service Area Fee or $50.00 Out-of-Area Delivery Surcharge are separate from disposal and overweight charges.

All disposal weights are determined at the landfill using certified scale tickets. The customer agrees to pay disposal costs based on certified landfill weights.

All overweight and disposal charges will be billed to the payment method on file after landfill disposal is completed.

 MATERIAL RESTRICTIONS

For heavy materials such as dirt, brick, concrete, asphalt, stone, slate, or gravel, a 7-yard dumpster is required. Our red dumpsters must not be used for heavy debris removal unless previously authorized by Dumpster Rentals Hagerstown.

ROOFING SHINGLES

Customers disposing of roofing shingles must order a 10-yard dumpster. Due to the high density and weight of shingles, larger dumpsters may exceed the weight limits and safe transportation limits applicable to our equipment and vehicles. For safety and compliance with applicable transportation requirements, Dumpster Rentals Hagerstown will not provide a dumpster larger than 10 yards for loads containing roofing shingles. Customers must not place shingles in a larger dumpster unless they have received prior written authorization from Dumpster Rentals Hagerstown. If shingles are placed in an unauthorized container, we may refuse pickup until the load is corrected, and any additional handling, trip, or other applicable charges under these Terms and Conditions may apply.

 HEAVY MATERIAL DEPOSITS

Dumpsters used for heavy materials such as concrete, dirt, asphalt, brick, stone, slate, or gravel may require a refundable weight deposit before delivery.

The final disposal cost will be calculated based on actual landfill weight. Any remaining deposit balance after disposal costs are applied will be refunded to the original payment method. If disposal costs exceed the deposit amount, the remaining balance will be charged to the payment method on file.
Failure to provide a required deposit may result in refusal of service.

 PROPER LOADING

Customers must not load materials above the top edge of the dumpster walls or outside the container dimensions. Overfilled dumpsters create safety hazards during transportation and may result in refusal of service.

Loads must be level with the container sides to ensure safe hauling. Materials extending above or beyond the container may be removed at the customer’s expense, and additional fees or fines may apply.
The customer assumes responsibility for penalties, damages, or service delays caused by overfilled or improperly loaded dumpsters.

If materials require redistribution, removal, or additional disposal handling because of improper loading, those costs will be charged to the payment method on file.

 DRIVEWAYS AND PARKING AREAS

The customer guarantees that the access area is adequate to support the weight of all required equipment and vehicles.

Smart Business Consulting LLC, DBA “Dumpster Rentals Hagerstown,” is not liable for damage to pavement, subsurfaces, lawns, fences, or shrubbery caused by the weight of equipment. Driveway protection using RolliSkate Pads is available at an additional cost.

 WASTE MATERIALS AND INCLUDED SERVICES

The customer agrees that all materials placed in the dumpster are waste materials and contain no hazardous or prohibited materials.

Each dumpster rental includes one delivery, one pickup, and one disposal service, subject to these Terms and Conditions and the selected rental option.

The following weight limits are included in the rental price:
– 14-yard dumpster — 24-hour rental: up to 2,000 lbs.
– 14-yard dumpster — 4-day rental: up to 2,000 lbs.
– 14-yard dumpster — 7-day rental: up to 4,000 lbs.
– 16-yard dumpster — 24-hour rental: up to 2,000 lbs.
– 16-yard dumpster — 4-day rental: up to 2,000 lbs.
– 16-yard dumpster — 7-day rental: up to 4,000 lbs.
– 20-yard dumpster — 24-hour rental: up to 3,000 lbs.
– 20-yard dumpster — 4-day rental: up to 4,000 lbs.
– 20-yard dumpster — 7-day rental: up to 5,000 lbs.
– 24-yard dumpster — 24-hour rental: up to 4,000 lbs.
– 24-yard dumpster — 4-day rental: up to 5,000 lbs.
– 24-yard dumpster — 7-day rental: up to 6,000 lbs.
– 7-yard dumpster for heavy debris: billed at $0.09 per pound, subject to any applicable deposit requirements.

The $12.00 Fuel Charge applies to every order. Deliveries outside the local service area may also incur the $35.00 Extended Service Area Fee or the $50.00 Out-of-Area Delivery Surcharge, depending on the delivery ZIP code. These charges are separate from the rental price and any applicable disposal, overweight, or other additional fees.

Overweight charges and other surcharges may apply for excessive top-offs or improper loading, including loads exceeding the container’s fill line.

 ADDITIONAL FEES

The following additional fees may apply when the described circumstances occur:
– Fuel Charge: $12.00 per order.
– Extended Service Area Fee: $35.00 per delivery, when applicable.
– Out-of-Area Delivery Surcharge: $50.00 per delivery, when applicable.
– Manipulation of loads: $50.00.
– Same-day cancellation: $50.00.
– Change of dumpster location after drop-off: $50.00.
– Unserviceable conditions, such as a blocked container or unsuitable drop-off/pickup site: $50.00.
– Extended rental beyond 24 hours: $19.99 per additional day. If the rental extends beyond 3 days, the cost will default to the 4-day rental rate.
– Extended rental beyond 4 days: $19.99 per additional day. If the rental extends beyond 6 days, the cost will default to the 7-day rental rate.
– Extended rental beyond 7 days: $12.00 per additional day. The maximum rental period is 30 days.
– Mattresses and box springs: $7.00 per item in Washington County and $28.00 per item in Frederick County. These are landfill fees.
– Flat-screen televisions: $7.00 each for proper recycling. TVs must not be placed inside the dumpster.
– Tires: $10.00 per tire for recycling, up to a maximum of five tires. Tires must be left next to the dumpster and must not be placed inside it.

Additional fees may apply for excess weight, prohibited materials, improper loading, additional handling, disposal costs, or other circumstances described in these Terms and Conditions.

 PROHIBITED MATERIALS

Flammable materials, items containing freon, wet paint, batteries, oils, and electronics must not be placed in the dumpster unless expressly permitted under the applicable service arrangement. Please contact your county’s landfill for instructions on disposing of prohibited items.

 LIABILITY FOR FINES AND DAMAGES

The customer is responsible for fines resulting from an overloaded container and for damage caused to the dumpster during the rental period.

 GOVERNING LAW

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any disputes will be resolved in the District or Circuit Courts of Washington County, Maryland, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

 ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes previous agreements, written or oral, concerning the services covered by these Terms and Conditions.

 SEVERABILITY

If any section of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining portions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

 PAYMENT AND BILLING

The customer agrees to cover legally recoverable collection costs, including applicable attorney fees and court costs, as permitted by law and any applicable agreement.

 CARD ON FILE AUTHORIZATION AND POST-SERVICE CHARGES

The customer agrees to provide a valid credit or debit card to be kept on file for the duration of the rental service, unless otherwise approved in writing.

By placing an order and accepting delivery of the dumpster, the customer authorizes Smart Business Consulting LLC, DBA “Dumpster Rentals Hagerstown,” to charge the card on file for outstanding balances and additional charges incurred under these Terms and Conditions.

Post-service charges may include, but are not limited to:
– Disposal weight charges.
– Overweight fees.
– Rental extension charges.
– Fuel or mileage charges where applicable.
– Extended Service Area Fees or Out-of-Area Delivery Surcharges where applicable.
– Prohibited-material fees.
– Improper-loading fees.
– Trip charges.
– Additional handling or service fees.
– Other applicable charges disclosed in these Terms and Conditions or at checkout.

The customer acknowledges that final disposal weight is determined after the dumpster is removed and processed at the landfill and agrees to pay applicable disposal costs based on certified landfill weight tickets.

If payment for post-service charges cannot be processed using the card on file, the customer agrees to remit payment within five (5) business days of receiving the final invoice.

Failure to remit payment may result in legally permissible late fees, collection actions, collection costs, attorney fees, court costs, and suspension of future services, subject to applicable law.

 INDEMNIFICATION

To the extent permitted by law, the customer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Smart Business Consulting LLC, DBA “Dumpster Rentals Hagerstown,” and its employees and agents from claims, costs, damages, or losses arising from the customer’s use of the services, except to the extent caused by the company’s negligence or other conduct for which liability cannot legally be excluded.

—TERMS & CONDITIONS — LOADING HELPER SERVICE

Effective Date: March 14, 2025

Dumpster Rentals Hagerstown offers an optional Loading Helper Service for an additional fee in addition to the dumpster rental price. By purchasing this service, the customer agrees to the following terms:

 1. Scope of Service
– The service includes two loading helpers who will assist in loading the rented dumpster.
– Loading is provided up to the maximum fill capacity of the dumpster.
– The service includes loading only and does not include sorting, organizing, cleaning, demolition, or other additional work.

 2. Service Limitations
– Helpers will not load hazardous materials, prohibited items, or items not allowed under the dumpster rental terms. – Loading will stop when the dumpster reaches its maximum allowable fill capacity, even if additional items remain.

 3. Customer Responsibilities
– The customer must provide clear and safe access to the loading area.
– The customer is responsible for directing the helpers regarding which items should be loaded.

 4. Liability
Dumpster Rentals Hagerstown and its loading helpers are not responsible for damage to property, items, or personal belongings during loading, except to the extent liability cannot legally be excluded. Any indemnification obligation is subject to applicable law.

 5. Availability and Cancellations
– The Loading Helper Service is subject to availability and must be scheduled in advance.
– Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice to qualify for a refund.
– No refunds will be provided once loading has commenced, except where required by law.

By purchasing the Loading Helper Service, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
